At the moment both the front yard and the back yard are a bit out of shape.
What I consider it needs is a sense of order, drawing some clear boundaries between grass, plants, stone, pebbles.
Therefore I would suggest placing some wooden square hubs placed at a certain distance from the fence separating the grass from other decorative plants, which also must respect a certain pace, rythm.
I would keep some of the plants next to the fence but give them a tidier look, maybe not so tall.
I see you have some wooden boxes... maybe you could use them for some floral arrangements, maybe add some stones. Also they can be covered in panels of rusted steel, that would create a more interesting atmosphere.
As for the area for hammocks, I proposed something of a small japanese garden, with pebbles and maybe some stones that I see you already have in yhe yard.
As for the front yard, I wouldn't change much. The small trees must be arranged, I feel there is one missing (I added it in my design). II would remove the other plants behind them, leave a clean grass and add coloured hedge.
Also, for the area with the big tree in front of the house, I suggested sorrounding him with two circles of flowers insted of what it it now to give more live to the area.
Hope you will like it!
