I own a Ford dealership in Jasper, Alabama, which includes a plot of land on which sits a vacant Bonanza Steakhouse, which measures roughly 10k to 12k square feet. It has been vacant for many years and is a piece of property that I would like to use for additional vehicle storage and showcasing. I believe the Bonanza building might retrofit well into an open air vehicle barn. Thus, I am interested in designs which remove the exterior walls, leaving perhaps every other support column (additional support headers will have to be added) and leaving the roofing structure. The interior would need some lighting and perhaps a few large ceiling fans. My budget is $100,000 for the retrofit.
I am interested in a final product that is different from virtually anything at any other auto dealership. Think Pink Truck Barn with disco balls, etc. - don't get trapped by this concept, it's just an example. This is located at an intersection of two busy highways, so I'd like something that is unique and grabs attention.
I would like to keep the existing roof structure as I want to have an advertising/branding message on it, though the actual roof covering is open to interpretation.
