Thank you for your interest in helping us!
We are looking to design our master bedroom. We are open to all suggestions that are mid century, "boutique hotel.... like". We DON'T want it to be ultra modern though. The rest of our house is more monocramatic with splashes of color... we like that look and are open to mixing colors that work well together. We would like white, light or off white bedding to be used in the design. It's a very large open space and easy to work with. We are open to paint, window treatments, shaes, blinds suggestions, etc... We like the grey tones or neutral for the walls. Also, the chair rail we would like to stay for some texture... We are wondering if it would look OK to paint one solid color over it (see photo).
We want to keep the bed exactly where it is. The dressers, bed tables, bed, headboard, fan and lounge chair on the end of the bed are all pieces we will be keeping. We want to add one large or two small chairs to the room to be put in the far left corner where there is open space (see photos). The hard wood floor is new and we would like to add a large rug. We struggle with colors and patterns. We would like to reupholster the lounge at the end of our bed. The only color we do not want thrown into the room is burnt orange as we have that look in another room in our home.
Very excited to see your reccomendations. Thanks!
