I have a franchise hair salon; my contract is over and I am coming out of franchise and doing business as independent hair salon. Goal is to offer value for customers but service like high-end salon.
Back in 2009, I did complete remodel and brought to current state; so I don’t want to spend so much money to remodel again; I prefer not to move walls as much as possible.. If it will add value, I am open to move one wall.
Purpose of this Arch competition is to look at the current salon floor model and design interiors to make it more like high-end salon.
I’m looking specifically Painting the salon in diff color, open up the celling, interior decoration, Kids area deisgn, wall design, putting models on the wall; anything else would make the salon more appealing. I like contemporary design; given this is client facing; I don’t want to overdo. I am willing to change the salon chairs to match design; Salon produces more dust; design needs to be more easy to maintain or clean.
In the picture you will see few half walls with Photo Frame; I am looking to take the photoframe/pole out; leave the half wall as it is provided if that can allow us to have diff design.
I need Ideas; design and concepts.
Overall goal is to attract new high-end customers who are spending lot money at high-end salons. This is where salon design comes into picture.
Once selected; may need some follow up questions but don't think I need onsite help.
1. Problem is that if I open up the ceiling, there are few walls will be hanging without touching the ceiling; need idea to solve this issue
2. Don’t want to move walls or styling station unless it will add huge improvement
3 Salon Furniture are new; spend $20K buy; don't want to change as it is new. I willing to change lighting fixtures, fan, etc
Color selection needs to go with the logo I attached
Like Bright/Dark colors;
Design needs to appeal general public; Customer base is 25 to 60s
This salon location is next to super market in US; 40 miles north of a big city; subu
